Exhibition of the young Azerbaijani female artists was opened in Luxembourg
On 15 June 2015, the official opening of the exhibition of the young Azerbaijani female artists titled “A Thousand and One Colour of the Land of Fire” was held in the Azerbaijan Cultural Association “Qarabag” in Luxembourg. The exhibition is organized with the financial support of the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
First Secretary of the Association Mrs. Eva Rodick, who was officiating the opening, stressed the importance of the event. The organiser of the event the chairperson of the “Eternal Torch” Cultural Relations Society and professor of the Linguistic University Mrs. Shahla Nagiyeva during her speech highlighted the aim and objectives of the exhibition. She noticed that the aim of the project is to create clearer awareness of the European public about the dynamic processes going on in Azerbaijan, beauties of the country, its historical monuments, culture and art. Therefore, it was not accidental that Karabakh theme had special place among the exhibited works.
Madam Nagiyeva also mentioned the spectacular European Games held in Baku and success of Azerbaijani athletes were achieving at the Games, and drew attention to the works on the Baku 2015 also presented at the exhibition.
Young artists Narmina Valiyeva, Shahla Qahramali and Gunay Hasanova whose works were exhibited among others welcomed the visitors and thanked everyone who contributed into realization of the event.
The exhibition will last until 20th of June 2015.
